Young Adults Weekend Experience
The Young Adults Weekend Experience will be held from 6pm Friday 12th March to 1pm Sunday 14th March at the Gumburu Environmental Education Centre, Paluma.
Youth Ministry Development Officers, Dan Bowmar and Lauren Cole will facilitate the 2010 Young Adult Weekend Experience.
This weekend is an exciting opportunity for young adults (18-35) to get away from their busy schedules, form new friendships, rediscover God, learn more about their faith and take much needed time out in the tranquil surroundings of the tropical rainforest of Paluma. Come and join other young adults as we explore the significance behind our relationship with Jesus. Make sure that you register now to ensure your place as numbers are strictly limited.

Leaven Hour
Leaven Hour is a monthly event, held on the last Thursday of the month from 7-8pm at the Cathedral. The intention is to pray for all those who are trying to discover their vocation, and for all who are trying to live their vocation and personal call to holiness.

Wildfire
Wildfire is a young adults group for those between 18 and 35. We meet every second Friday at The House of Prayer (Pimlico), 7:30 - 9:30pm. Wildfire dates can be found on the Youth Ministry Calendar.
Wildfire will be holding their first meeting for 2010 on the 5th February 7:30pm at the House of Prayer, Pimlico.
The idea of Wildfire is to create an opportunity for young Catholics to come together to discuss, pray, and hang out. We try to get a balance between discussion, activity and service and from time to time get in guest speakers to help us focus on a particular topic, service or group.
Those who attend Wildfire are encouraged to come every two weeks, but it is understood that with busy schedules that this is not always possible. People are therefore welcome whenever they can make it.
A gold coin donation is appreciated at each meeting.
