Young Christian Workers
The Young Christian Workers is an international movement run for, by and with young people. In YCW we seek to organise, educate and empower ourselves to be leaders of positive change within our own lives and our communities.
The type of change we make is informed by our values, beliefs and faith.
In YCW we believe that both personal and collective action is the starting point for justice, dignity and harmony in our world.
A YCW group has recently been set up at St Raphael's Hall, Catholic Colleges, JCU. We are looking for any young people between the ages of 18-30 in Townsville who would like to join our group. Currently the group is meeting each fortnight on a Wednesday from 5:30pm-6:30pm.
